I know the "of Charrslaying" mod is what make the Charrslayer weapons unique, but it couldn't hurt to make it salvagable, could it? This does, of course, include the Armor+10 on shields and foci. Destroyer weapons can have their mods salvaged. So let's have the Charrslayer weapons come with the mod, but at least make it salvagable. Savvy?

Charrslayer weapons are the Ebon Vanguard's "best" weapon towards the charr, (just try a 15^50 customized charr axe with asuran scan vs a charrboss..)
Destroyer weapons doesnt have any special mods, thats why its mods can be salvaged.

I think he more wants the skin than the mod itself, which I think would be nice, somewhat. I'm not sure if I want to sign this though, because it doesn't make sense lore-wise.

I never make those weapons.

The charrslaying mod make them rather useless, since I don't have room for one weapon with each slaying mod, so I have weapons with more generic mods.

If I can't salvage the mod, then I have no use for them.

Also, the armor +x vs species mods on shields and foci are never salvageable. They're only found on "oldschool" weapons as inherents.

If you want a weapon with another skin and +20% dmg vs Charr just get the mod - they can be found randomly on weapons anywhere in Prophecies.

Like I care about the plot. What matters nowadays is having better looking equipment than the next guy. That's why Silverwing Recurve Bows are the most expensive weapons in the game.

What's the use of a weapon designed to fight charr if it no longer deals extra damage against charr? You'll have the weakest weapon out of anyone in the Vanguard and they will make fun of you.

PvE-only properties like those should be... that, PvE-only, not using up PvP slots.
That's goes for Higly Salvageable, Increased priced and all the other 'vs race' mods.

Because Charr weapons dealing more damage to the Charr than other species makes sense lore-wise? Or at all?

Why not just make a new weapon crafter that charges more for "clean" versions of these? It would be a win-win situation for all.

The vanguard you find near the helmet all have those weapons on them. But they don't appear on the ground or in their hands. They were killed with them, and if you see the Vanguard, none of them carry those weapons, they all carry weapons like the Signet Shield and the Mammoth blade, that fit more the 'Monument' style.

Those should have been in the Doomlore shrine, crafted by a Charr. It's not like the free charr won't make weapons out of defeated flame legion corpses.
